Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Chop up apples into 1 inch pieces. Toss the sugar, flour, and cinnamon with the chopped apples. Place the apple mixture in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and make the topping.
Topping
Mix the topping ingredients in a bowl until the butter in thoroughly incorporated and the consistently of fine meal. Top the apple mixture with the topping. Bake until golden brown about 30 minutes or until the apples are tender and topping is crisp. Serve hot.
